My personal weight loss journey created a ripple effect I never imagined. I was a 10-year employee in what I thought was my dream job of Sports Marketing when I discovered my passion for nutrition coaching and helping people break through the clutter of the diet industry. I want to help people truly understand how to reach their nutrition and fitness goals through a healthy, balanced diet and not just a crash/fad diet that continued an endless cycle.

Losing inches and body fat is one thing, but hearing our Clients tell us that they are off blood pressure medicine, in the best shape of their life at 40, able to chase their kids around on vacation, or even able to HAVE children because they have taken their nutrition seriously are the results that light us up.

I’ve been a police officer for 12 years.I have zero control over how my day is going to go. I do know that I have control over my nutrition choices and how I prepare for my day.

I was in and out of the gym with what I thought was a relatively “healthy” eating lifestyle.  I was perfectly content… until I discovered CrossFit in 2013.  I didn’t understand why every workout felt awful and how I was still gaining weight even though I was working out harder than I had ever worked out before.

I have experienced a variety of different diets in my lifetime and they have all served their purpose. However, none of them provided what I needed as the essential to any diet/lifestyle: sustainability. It wasn't that other diets, don't work, it was that they were not the best for ME!

From muscle gain, to fat loss or performance enhancement. I am always creating new goals for my mind and body, as well as experimenting with a variety of different diets. Personally, for the last 3 years I've been keto.

I struggled with my weight my entire life. I was constantly chasing and trying new diets and supposed quick fixes. I had the all or nothing mentality and that led me to being successful when I was on, but the minute I had a slip up I would give up. I was the definition of a yo-yo dieter.

Working with N3 completely changed my relationship with food. I was finally in a place where I felt confident in what I was doing and knew that it was a sustainable change. With the education and support I got through N3 I was finally able to hit my goals.

I struggled with my weight my whole childhood and into my college years. I actually tried my first diet at 11 years old and lost a few pounds. As a kid I would read through magazines like women's world and YM (this is pre-Google) to try and find a workout routine or diet. Nothing worked.

I later found out I had PCOS and a pituitary tumor - both of which made it very difficult to lose weight. My doctors weren't much help either. They were quick to suggest birth control and calorie restriction.

Fast forward to my early 20s, when I discovered flexible dieting! It was a LIFE CHANGER!

Let me introduce myself: my name is Chelsea.

After my college softball career ended I found myself bored, gaining weight and felt I’d lost my athletic connection when I found CrossFit; I was hooked immediately. I'd found a passion for working out and a love for the supportive community that kept me in the gym more consistently than ever before.

My husband and I got married in 2014, during that year I was successful at losing weight through working out and following a templated meal plan, but soon after that I slowly put a decent of weight back on. I woke up one morning after a day of partying at the Lake of the Ozarks, feeling bloated and gross, and thought “that’s it. I’m tired of this body.” I’d seen a couple people on Instagram tagging a nutrition coaching program called Working Against Gravity and decided to give it a shot.

June 2018 - 144#
June 2019 - 124#
The weight fell off.

What was the difference?
My understanding of nutrition.

With the previous meal plan, I’d paid to be told exactly what and when to eat, and if I took any liberties or just didn’t eat those items I put on weight. I had no understanding of what the items in that meal plan did for me, how they interacted with each other, how I could sub and swap options, nothing. Working Against Gravity customized a set of macros for me, provided me with tons of information, and said “eat whatever you want if it fits your macros.” My workout routine did not change at all, but my eating habits were overhauled.

The understanding, relationship, confidence and results I have are mind-blowing. I feel better, perform better in the gym, and even have to tell myself “yes, that’s your body” when I look in the mirror. I never thought I could look like this and eat the things I eat.

I completed the WAG Coaching Certification course to help my friends and family, and I'm proud and excited that it lead to much more than that.

First responders? Let’s talk about how YOU should be first.

I'm a wife, a mother, a Police Officer and an Army Veteran.

In some way, shape or form, fitness has always been a part of my life. Growing up, I was always active and involved in sports. In my teens and 20’s, I was in and out of the gym with what I thought at the time was a relatively “healthy” eating lifestyle.

I was perfectly content… until I discovered CrossFit in 2013. I didn’t understand why every workout felt awful and how I was still gaining weight even though I was working out harder than I had ever worked out before.

After all, I was eating “healthy”, right? That’s when I was introduced to a local nutritionist that several other members were using and was given a cookie cutter nutrition plan with absolutely zero education or explanation on how this plan was supposed to fit into my life. Although, I stuck with that nutritionist for several years, I never saw the results I was so desperately hopeful for. I was nowhere close to where I wanted to be. I was upset and frustrated.

I watched as Chelsea, CEO of N3, who also worked with the same cookie cutter nutritionist, smashed results with a nutrition company she found on social media: Working Against Gravity. I started WAG in 2019 and could not be more thrilled to see that my hard work was starting to pay off!

I’ve been a police officer for 12 years. I have zero control over how my day is going to go. I do know that I have control over my nutrition choices and how I prepare for my day. I would not have been able to do that without WAG. I am even more excited about joining the Nude Nation team as a nutrition coach because I have a huge passion for helping motivate others see their hard work pay off!

The difference?

Understanding nutrition and consistency.

It doesn’t have to be overly complicated or difficult.

And I can help with that.

Nude Nation, meet Coach Melissa!

I struggled with my weight my entire life.

I was constantly chasing and trying new diets and supposed quick fixes. I had the all or nothing mentality and that led me to being successful when I was on, but the minute I had a slip up I would give up. I was the definition of a yo-yo dieter.

2017 came with some big life events. I had moved 1800 miles away from my family and friends, got married, and started a new job. We decided to start trying to have a family and had issues trying to get pregnant. With that came two years of stress and medications which led to some serious weight gain. When we conceived, I had a high risk pregnancy and was limited with what I could do physically so my mental health and physical health declined.  After our daughter was born I was back at CrossFit and eating low carb again. The results I was getting were not matching the effort I was putting out. I also noticed my energy levels were terrible and the combination of low carb plus a newborn were not jiving. I felt like I was barely surviving.

My girls are my WHY. I want to make sure they get the best version of me. I want them to see that their mom is active because she loves to move her body, eats nutritionally dense meals because she likes the way it makes her feel, and that she can enjoy a treat with them too.

Finding balance in nutrition was such a pivotal change in my life and I knew that more people could benefit from the education that comes with the WAG nutrition program. I want to share with my clients that there really is a way to be successful in the long term. I want to give clients the tools to change their relationship with food and help them reach their fitness goal in a more balanced approach through nutrition.

I knew Chelsea was having awesome results with counting macros and working with WAG. Chelsea then got certified and set me up with custom macros. I tried to navigate it by myself for about a month before deciding to jump in and work with N3 one-on-one. It was the BEST decision. Working with N3 completely changed my relationship with food.

I am finally in a place where I feel confident in what I am doing and I know that this is a sustainable way of eating, not just a quick change. With the education and support I got through N3 I was finally able to hit my goals.

Are you ready to hit yours? I'm ready when you are.

Nude Nation, Meet the Mister: Coach Michael

My passion for nutrition comes from my own personal journey, where I lost over 50 pounds, built muscle and have maintained - for years.

Being overweight sent me down a path that I felt had no return from and pushed me to a point of depression. Eventually, I was able to drag myself out of the deep hole I found myself, attacked my weight and eventually dropped over 50 pounds in the course of 8 months.

I received my Precision Nutrition Certification last year and have since worked with a few clients. I love working with my clients. Nothing to date has brought me further satisfaction, career wise, than seeing their success in reaching their goals. With my clients, I do my best to coach the whole person, seeing what things are affecting their life and the impact it has on their goals, all while building their trust.

I have experienced a variety of different diets in my lifetime and they have all served their purpose. However, none of them provided what I needed as the essential to any diet/lifestyle: sustainability.

It wasn't that other diets, don't work, it was that they were not the best for ME!

For the last 2-3 years, I have religiously and loyally followed a Ketogenic diet and not looking back. Keto broke me of a need to continuously feed myself throughout the day, gave me sustainable energy, cut down inflammation and broke my intense sugar cravings. I am also able to consistently maintain my macros and resist the dreadful binge!

Now, I'm helping people achieve the same results and benefits I have.

Eating for two? Courtney might be for you!

I'm focusing on women with PCOS, pregnancy, and postpartum.

When you are expecting, there are so many things you can't control! But I found a great deal of comfort in taking control of my nutrition while pregnant. It was not only empowering, but it was great to know I was getting my baby what she needed.

When I became a mom life got BUSY! Knowing that I had a blueprint of sorts to follow while eating took the guess work out of what to cook, what to eat, and how to take care of my body.

My why is to never feel uncomfortable in my body and to teach my daughters that effort yields results no matter what! I work very hard for the progress I've made and I want my daughters to understand that nothing is off limits if she works for it! It's a true motivator to realize that I am setting the standard that she will later reference in life!

I reached my peak fitness, competed in local CrossFit comps AND welcomed a baby girl - all of which I was told would never happen! Now I'm on my own journey after having a baby and it is a whole new learning curve! But I learned a great deal about my body and am working through that process now!

I decided to become a WAG Certified Nutrition Coach because I wanted women to feel as good as I do! I want them to feel empowered in their bodies despite the cards they were dealt.
